Lakeside, CA — Spring is blooming early in Lakeside as the Lakeside Garden Club gets ready to host its Bi-Annual Spring Plant Sale on Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Olde Community Church, located at 9906 Maine Avenue.
The popular community event will feature a wide variety of plants for sale, including flowers, vegetable plants, succulents, drought-tolerant plants, and geraniums. Shoppers can also browse a colorful collection of yard art, garden pots, and don’t miss the always delicious bake sale.
Proceeds from the sale support the Garden Club’s local projects, including Ornamental Horticulture Scholarships, school gardens, and other community beautification efforts.
There will also be a Second Time Around Sale, offering gently used items in a rummage-sale-style setup, and an Ask A Master Gardener Table where visitors can get advice and tips from experienced gardening experts.
Both cash and credit cards will be accepted. Whether you’re an experienced gardener or planting for the first time, the plant sale is a fun way to support your community and bring some beauty home.
