Cameron Stewart, owner of Pure Light Cleaning Specialists, reports he recently earned his technical certification as a Master Textile Cleaner from the Institute for Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC), an international industry trade group that certifies and develops certifications and standards for more than 20 categories within the inspection, cleaning and restoration industries. The master certification represents the cleaning industry’s highest technical designation. IICRC represents more than 54,000 certified technicians and 6,000 certified firms in 22 countries.
A San Diego native, Stewart specializes in cleaning carpet, upholstery, tile and grout, natural stone, area rugs and wood floors. He worked for four years for a cleaning company prior to starting his own firm in December 2010. He graduated from Grossmont High School (class of 2000). He was recently awarded a contract to clean and polish the marble floors every month in the lobby of the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel San Diego in Mission Valley.
