The newest store at the Viejas Outlets, 500 Willows Road in Alpine, is Charlotte Russe, located near the center of the Viejas Outlets, overlooking the central park area. The new 7,562-square-foot Charlotte Russe offers fashion trendsetting clothes, shoes and accessories at value-oriented prices to suit the ever-changing lifestyle needs of young women in their teens and early twenties. It is the San Diego-based chain’s 11th store locally. Named for the French dessert, Charlotte Russe opened in 1975 with its first store in Carlsbad. The mall-based chain now operates more than 500 stores in the U.S. and Puerto Rico.
