AAA Imaging, 7931 Broadway, Lemon Grove, has been named the 2013 Small Business of the Year in the 36th California Senate District by Sen. Joel Anderson (R-Alpine). Nominated by the La Mesa Chamber of Commerce, Jim Butcher and Pete Celestino, owners of AAA imaging, have provided printing and design services in East San Diego County over the past 21 years. Though many things have changed in their business, what hasn’t changed is their dedication to the community, Anderson said. AAA imaging supports several organizations and events, including the Friends of the Library, Little League baseball and Miss Lemon Grove Pageant, as well as several other youth activities. “Small Businesses account for over 90 percent of businesses in California and are the backbone of our state economy,” Anderson said. “This is why it is so important to recognize local businesses who not only create much needed jobs in our community but also take an active role in improving their community.”
