The Pacific Southwest Association of Realtors (PSAR), with an office in El Cajon, will host “ReThink, The Future of Real Estate” a special workshop from the National Association of Realtors (NAR) on the future of the U.S. real estate industry, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10, at the Scottish Rite Temple Event Center, 1895 Camino del Rio South, in San Diego’s Mission Valley area. Admission is free.
ReThink is an initiative from NAR’s Strategic Planning Committee that is seeking input from real estate professionals on where the industry is headed and the future of the American dream of homeownership, including new ways of buying, leasing and living. Attendees will engage in strategic, interactive conversations about future scenarios based on data and learn new information on how to alter their local business plans to stay relevant and successful.
Sponsorship support of PSAR’s ReThink workshop on April 10 is provided by Sierra Pacific Mortgage, a wholesale lender that offers loan products to wholesale brokers, loan officers and real estate professionals. Based in Folsom, Calif., Sierra Pacific Mortgage operates 12 regional fulfillment centers covering 48 states.
More information on ReThink is available at www.psar.org or www.rethinkfuture.com. Founded in 1928, PSAR offers educational training, advocacy and other services and resources to its realtor members. In 2012, the El Cajon-based, 800-member East San Diego County Association of Realtors merged with the Chula Vista-based, 1,100-member Pacific Southwest Association of Realtors to become PSAR.
