The San Diego Radio Broadcasters Association (SDRBA), in partnership with the San Diego Better Business Bureau (BBB), is continuing the BBB’s annual “Famous Voices” radio advertising campaign through the end of January with approximately 220 30-second announcements heard on 26 SDRBA-member stations, including 20 English-language and six Spanish-language stations.
Brad Belus of Cable, Pipe and Leak Detection of El Cajon is among three other BBB accredited businesses participating in the campaign, according to Sharon Massey, SDRBA executive director. Other participants in the 2013 “Famous Voices” campaign include Kimberly Kobey-Pretto of Kobey’s Swap Meet, Ian Aires of PermaDontics and Allan Ziman Rubin of Sid’s Carpet Barn.
Now in its 14th year, the radio advertising campaign is expected to reach more than 900,000 adults, age 18 and older, in San Diego County with a message that touts the value of the BBB to their company and consumes and the importance of ethical business practices in the community, Massey said. The SDRBA is a coalition of local radio stations that promotes the use of radio as a primary advertising medium and supports civic and charitable causes that benefit the San Diego community.
