Los Angeles-based clothing retailer Forever 21 has unveiled an expanded and refurbished store at Westfield Parkway shopping center in El Cajon. The shop, which sells value-priced fashions for young women and men, has been expanded to 20,000 square feet, the company said. Forever 21 executive vice president Larry Meyer said the El Cajon store has been remodeled with a new layout and expanded clothing concepts “to ensure a better shopping environment.”
The retailer operates eight stores in San Diego County. Traditionally an operator of small stories in enclosed malls, the retailer in the past two years has been opened larger-format locations with a wider array of clothing and accessories. Forever 21 is set to open a more than 62,000-square-foot shop by the end of 2011 at Fashion Valley mall in Mission Valley, replacing the smaller-format store.
