The Santee Chamber of Commerce will present its fifth annual Santee Street Fair from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 25 at the corner of Riverview Parkway and Town Center Parkway. John Olsen, Santee Chamber president/CEO, says the event is the largest one-day festival in the East County. The street fair will feature more than 300 food and vendor booths, three stages of live entertainment, carnival rides and a beer garden featuring Santee’s own Manzanita Brewing Co. Musical bands will include Bobby and the Angels, Rockola and Liquid Blue. Pat Chambers is this year’s event chairman. Olsen said the event was created to bring awareness to Santee businesses, encourage local shopping and collect food and donations for the Santee Food Bank.
