The El Cajon office of ComForcare Senior Services recently began its third year in business, reported Dean Natwick, owner/president. The company provides non-medical private duty home care services, including grooming and hygiene, bathing and toileting, meal preparation, transportation and errands, medication reminders, safety supervision, light housekeeping, companionship and family respite.
Natwick and daughter Alexandra Natwick, who serves as director of business operations, opened the local franchise in June 2011, and were recently awarded contracts by the County of San Diego to provide services for both elderly and developmentally disabled people. The local East County office is San Diego’s newest ComForcare outlet, and is one of the few in the industry with its own on-staff nurse who assists with client services, Natwick said. The Bloomfield Hills, Mich.-based firm supports 170 independently owned and operated franchisees in the U.S., with additional offices in Canada and United Kingdom.
