(NASDAQ: SCSS), which designs, manufactures, markets and supports a line of adjustable-firmness mattresses featuring air-chamber technology, has opened its newest Sleep Number store in Santee at 9824 Mission Gorge Road near Target in the Santee Trolley Center. It is San Diego County’s fourth Sleep Number store. The Santee store, with 3,373 square feet, is scheduled to open tomorrow, July 26, and will offer the full line of its Sleep Number adjustable mattresses, sheets, pillows and other bed accessories.
When shoppers visit the new Santee Sleep Number store, they will encounter a multi-sensory experience that goes far beyond the one-size-fits-all approach of other mattress retailers, the company said. Customers are guided by their Sleep Professional through interactive experiences that showcase the technological innovation of Sleep Number’s benefit-driven products. Unlike other mattresses that feature foam or springs inside, only the Sleep Number bed has DualAir technology inside, which allows couples to adjust each side to their individual comfort and support at the touch of a button. Each Sleep Number bed comes with a 25-year limited warranty and a 100-night in-home trial. The Minneapolis-based Select Comfort Corp. operates 400 Sleep Number stores nationwide.
