San Diego’s TWAW chapter is part of the TWAW Shooting Chapters national organization. The nonprofit creates opportunities for women to be introduced to learn safe gun handling skills, train together and be introduced to issues important to women shooters. The mission of TWAW is to educate, equip and empower women shoots and expand the world of firearms to women in a safe, nonthreatening way. Membership is geared towards women 18 years of age and older who may be just getting started with buying, shooting and caring for firearms or who may have some level of experience and want to advance their skills and help other women have some fun and enjoy learning and shooting in the company of other women.
