Tickets are now on sale for the San Diego East County Chamber of Commerce’s 11th annual Women in Leadership Luncheon (WILL) to be held on Friday, Nov. 1 at the Town and Country Resort Hotel & Convention Center in Mission Valley. Cost to attend is $70 per person, which includes parking. A reception will begin at 11:30 a.m. and lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m. The event is scheduled to end at 2 p.m. Sharp HealthCare is the presenting sponsor. Other sponsors include the East County Herald, Barona Resort & Casino, Sycuan Casino, SDG&E, St. Madeleine Sophie’s Center and Carothers DiSante & Freudenberger LLP. Additional sponsors include Aflac, DSD Business Systems, Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community, College District, Grossmont Healthcare District, Hamann Construction, Oak Tree Escrow, Viejas Band of Kumeyaay Indians, Grove Pastry Shop, Cox Communications and Mail Management Group Inc. Winners will be recognized from six fields, including art/media, business, education/academia, healthcare, non-profit and hospitality. Leah McIvor, realtor with Coldwell Banker Residential, is serving as the 2013 event chair. Keynote speaker at the presentation luncheon will be Deborah Scott, executive chef and partner of the Cohn Restaurant Group. Former TV anchor Carol LeBeau will return as emcee.
