The City of El Cajon Recreation Department proudly announces the summer camp lineup for
the Hillside Community Center. These camps offerings include:
Hawaiian Adventure Indoor Soccer Camp (Ages 6 to 13)
Kick off the summer at Hawaiian Adventure Indoor Soccer Camp, June 26 through June 30.
Staff will focus on developing your child’s athletic ability and team building skills. Activities
include group games, crafts and a lot of Hawaiian theme fun! The camp runs from 9:00
a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The registration fee is $95 for residents and $110 for non-residents.
Culinary Kids Summer Camp (Ages 6 to 13)
Have fun, make friends and be creative while learning about health, nutrition, food groups
and how to safely prepare yummy food. Each camper will make their own “Culinary Kids
Cookbook” filled with recipes. Campers will also enjoy games, crafts and other fun-tastic
activities. The camp runs from July 3 to July 7, (no camp on 7/4) from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00
p.m. The registration fee is $75 for residents and $90 for non-residents.
Super Hero Camp (Ages 6 to 13)
Calling all super heroes! Campers will learn to be as agile as Spiderman, fly like Superman,
and move faster than the Flash himself, all in a fun and safe environment. Each day is
packed with super hero themed games, crafts, water sports and surprises galore. The camp
runs from July 10 through July 14, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The registration fee is $95 for
residents and $110 for non-residents.
